Ajax is currently in search of a new technical director, and Jordi Cruijff’s name has surfaced as a leading candidate. According to De Telegraaf, the son of the legendary Johan Cruijff is being considered, although the Amsterdam club is evaluating several other candidates as well.

The Telegraaf reports that the search for a replacement comes in the wake of John Heitinga’s dismissal from his position, alongside Alex Kroes’s announcement of his intention to resign as technical director. Kroes will remain in his role until a suitable successor has been appointed. The ongoing search for a new technical director is now actively underway, with Cruijff being regarded as a significant contender.
