Audit Report Reveals Betis Financial Investments for 2024 25Audit Report Reveals Betis Financial Investments for 2024 25

The Audit Report shared by Real Betis with its shareholders last Friday, prior to the General Assembly scheduled for December 16, includes intriguing details regarding the club’s financials for the 2024-25 season, which will be put to a vote. Among these details are the amounts spent on salaries for both sporting and non-sporting personnel within the club.

For non-sporting staff, Real Betis incurred an expenditure of approximately €15.3 million, encompassing employee salaries, severance payments, sick leave, social security, and other social contributions. As is typical in football clubs, the sporting personnel, which includes players and coaching staff, received the largest share of the salary budget. Specifically, spending in this category reached approximately €87.3 million across all related expenses.

Notably, bonuses for the sporting staff increased by more than €2 million compared to the previous season. In total, the Betis squad distributed €2,593,871 in bonuses for the 2024-25 season as a reward for their on-field achievements. This marked a historic moment for Betis, as they reached a continental final in the Conference League against Chelsea and secured qualification for the UEFA Europa League, in which they are currently competing.

In the preceding season, the team managed only to qualify for the Conference League and was eliminated from continental competitions at the playoff stage (after dropping from the Europa League group stage). During that year, the bonuses awarded to the squad amounted to just €477,904 in total, which is over €2 million less than the current season. Such figures are negotiated directly by the team captains with the club at the beginning of each season.
