PSV Faces Personnel Challenges During Africa Cup in January

PSV may face considerable personnel challenges in January when the Africa Cup is scheduled to take place. Typically, Ismael Saibari will represent his country, Morocco, in this tournament, and it is anticipated that other PSV players will also participate. Consequently, new signing Paul Wanner may need to step in to fill the gap left by the star player Saibari.

Wanner was acquired last summer for approximately fifteen million euros from Bayern Munich; however, he has yet to receive substantial playing time at PSV. Coach Peter Bosz recognizes the talent of the promising number ten, but currently, that position is occupied by Saibari.
