According to reports from Bild, Borussia Dortmund is set to compete with Bayern Munich for the acquisition of Anderlecht midfielder Nathan de Cat, while also expressing interest in signing Swedish striker Kevin Filling.

The 17-year-old de Cat has recently been linked to Bayern Munich, but Dortmund is keen to secure the midfielder’s services. Currently participating in the under-17 World Cup with the Belgian national team, de Cat is a regular starter for Anderlecht, having made 19 appearances across all competitions. He demonstrates versatility by excelling both as a midfielder and as a defensive option.

In addition to de Cat, Borussia Dortmund is also eyeing AIK striker Kevin Filling. The 16-year-old is presently playing in the Swedish top division with IFK, where he has netted two goals in nine matches. Should Filling make the move to Dortmund, he may follow a similar trajectory to Alexander Isak, who transferred from AIK to Dortmund but faced challenges in establishing himself.

If Filling joins, it is likely he will initially spend time in the club’s academy or be loaned out to gain further experience.
