Ajax to Appoint New Technical Director Before Head Coach

omidbasir- Ajax intends to appoint a new technical director prior to commencing the search for a new head coach. Names such as Max Huiberts, Maxwell, and Jordi Cruijff have been discussed, but there are no concrete developments as of yet. Robert Maaskant, however, does not expect Cruijff to take on a role at Ajax.

In an appearance on the ESPN program Voetbalpraat, Maaskant elaborated on the potential arrival of Jordi Cruijff at Ajax. He stated that Cruijff possesses the profile needed for a position at the Amsterdam club. “Jordi Cruijff is someone who has grown up in international top football, has served as a technical director at multiple clubs, and, importantly for Ajax, has a football philosophy that prioritizes offensive play. This aligns perfectly with Ajax’s principles.”
