Mallorca Resumes Training Post International BreakMallorca Resumes Training Post International Break

omidbasir- After the international break, the Mallorca team has returned to the island, completing their third training session of the week. Lucas Bergström and Omar Mascarell have rejoined the training sessions. The Finnish goalkeeper returns after not playing any minutes during Finland’s two recent defeats, while Mascarell, who represented Equatorial Guinea in both matches, is preparing for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in December. Although Mascarell has not yet trained on the field, he has been working in the gym.

In tomorrow’s session, two notable players will suit up for training after the international break: Vedat Muriqi and Jan Virgili. Muriqi, the Kosovar forward, has secured a spot for the March playoff despite not scoring in his national team’s recent win and draw. Kosovo has the chance to participate in their first World Cup in history. Meanwhile, Catalan winger Virgili made his debut with the U21 team by scoring two goals against San Marino, although he played only 7 minutes during ‘La Rojita’s’ recent victory over Romania.

The last player to rejoin training will be Johan Mojica, who played a full 90 minutes for Colombia in their 3-0 victory over New Zealand. He is expected to resume workouts at Son Bibiloni on Friday.

Injured players Leo Román, Kumbulla, and Lato have yet to return to training, and they are now joined by Orejuela from the youth team. Today’s session also saw Marcos Gorriti from the reserve team participating.
