Guus Til Reflects on Recent Performance and Mental Resilience

Guus Til prefers not to dwell on his earlier interview where he expressed a lack of enjoyment in football. Recently, however, his passion for the game has returned, and he is in exceptional form representing PSV.

In an interview with ESPN, Til reflected on his current performance, saying, “Am I in the form of my life? I’m not sure, but things are certainly going well at the moment. It’s elusive, isn’t it? I find it difficult to explain.” The midfielder, who can also play as a forward, mentioned that sometimes things click, while at other times they do not. “A significant part of this game is mental, as it is in every sport. That plays a role in my performance. Perhaps everything is coming together at the right time.”
