Four years ago, Louis van Gaal was diagnosed with prostate cancer, but he now reports that he is experiencing minimal to no complications from the illness. He shared this update during the book launch of ‘Baba,’ which centers on Tijjani Babangida, in an interview with Sportnieuws.nl.

“I hope for a positive outcome; I feel quite optimistic,” Van Gaal stated.

He elaborated, “Compared to the last three years, my condition has steadily improved. My last surgery was a year ago, so I believe I have overcome the most challenging parts. My health indicators remain very low, which gives me hope that things will continue to improve. I am feeling quite positive about my situation.”
