Sevilla Prepares for Upcoming Match Against Espanyol

A significant development during today’s practice was the return of defender Marcao, who had been sidelined due to a bone contusion in his left ankle. After missing yesterday’s session, he participated at the beginning of today’s training.

This news comes as a relief for head coach Matías Almeyda, as he faces challenges with several defenders unavailable. José Ángel Carmona will miss the match due to suspension, while Nianzou, Azpilicueta, and Cardoso are still in recovery from their respective injuries. Additionally, Agoumé, Alexis Sánchez, and Isaac Romero are also working towards returning to full fitness.
