The English Football League (EFL) has officially launched its inaugural sticker collection, featuring players from all 72 clubs across the Championship, League One, and League Two. This landmark album represents the first collaboration between the EFL and Panini in over two decades and was introduced at the National Football Museum in Manchester.

The unveiling event showcased current players, including Doncaster striker Billy Sharp, Chesterfield forward Will Grigg, and Blackburn captain Todd Cantwell. They were joined by EFL legends such as Curtis Davies, Clinton Morrison, and Adebayo Akinfenwa, all of whom participated in the presentation of the new sticker album.

The collection boasts an impressive 788 stickers, which include statistics and facts about each team, along with rare Elite and Key Player stickers, fabric kits, and the coveted ‘shinies’ that feature club badges and team captains.

Fans can find this exciting collection at more than 8,000 retailers across the country, including major supermarkets and independent shops near EFL stadiums.

Katie Gritt, head of sport marketing at Panini, expressed her enthusiasm, stating: “For many fans, this is the first opportunity to collect stickers of players from the clubs they cherish. This collection honors the extraordinary talent within the EFL, alongside the legends of the sport.”

Ben Wright, chief commercial officer at the EFL, remarked: “Football is deeply rooted in passion, memories, and the moments that unite fans. This sticker album, featuring all 72 clubs, is a special tribute to the legends who have shaped our game and the current players and managers who make the Championship, League One, and League Two thrilling today.”

The launch of the EFL sticker album was projected prominently at the National Football Museum, encapsulating the excitement surrounding this groundbreaking initiative.
