Manchester United is reportedly keen on acquiring AFC Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo. The club is said to be very interested in the 25-year-old player and is willing to offer him his preferred squad number, No. 24, which is currently held by goalkeeper André Onana, on loan at Trabzonspor. Semenyo has showcased impressive form this season, recording six goals and three assists in the Premier League, which has drawn attention from various Premier League teams, including Liverpool. Notably, the Ghana international has a £60 million release clause that will activate in January.

In another development, Chelsea has expressed interest in Bayern Munich center-back Dayot Upamecano, as negotiations for a new contract continue amidst interest from multiple European clubs. Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Internazionale are also monitoring Upamecano’s situation. Should Bayern be unable to secure a contract extension with him, they are expected to pursue alternatives such as Borussia Dortmund’s Nico Schlotterbeck or Crystal Palace’s Marc Guéhi.

Real Madrid striker Gonzalo García is attracting interest from Aston Villa and Brighton & Hove Albion, with both clubs reportedly making inquiries about a potential loan move for the 21-year-old. García has made 10 first-team appearances this season, and Real Madrid has yet to decide on his future, considering he might be needed for extra attacking depth.

Inter Milan may face challenges in their pursuit of Roma midfielder Manu Koné, who is seen as a vital player by manager Gian Piero Gasperini. The Giallorossi have no intention of letting the 24-year-old France international leave, prompting Inter to consider alternative options as they seek reinforcements in January.

Liverpool is also looking at AZ Alkmaar midfielder Kees Smit, with a reported offer of £25 million needed to secure his services. The Premier League champions are not alone in their interest, facing competition from clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Newcastle United, and Borussia Dortmund. Smit, a Netherlands U21 international, has contributed to four goals in 12 Eredivisie matches this season.

In other news, Liverpool remains committed to manager Arne Slot despite recent performance issues, while Chelsea, Arsenal, and Barcelona are monitoring Nottingham Forest defender Murillo. Arsenal and Manchester United are keeping an eye on Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay, and Newcastle is preparing to sign a striker in January due to Yoane Wissa’s anticipated participation in the Africa Cup of Nations. Furthermore, Manchester United aims to offer midfielder Casemiro a new contract with a reduced salary. Fiorentina and Real Betis are among several clubs interested in Botafogo defender David Ricardo, who could be the subject of an €8 million offer soon. Everton, meanwhile, has no plans to part ways with midfielder James Garner in January despite interest from Nottingham Forest. Lastly, Bundesliga clubs are considering a move for Verona right-back Rafik Belghali, and multiple Premier League teams have shown interest in 17-year-old Swansea City youth midfielder Harlan Perry.
