Radu Shines in LaLiga Debut as October Player of the Month

Radu is having a remarkable season as a Celtic player in his debut campaign in LaLiga. The Romanian goalkeeper has been voted the best player of October by the fans of the Vigo club.

He expressed his gratitude for the recognition: “Never stop cheering for us because we will continue to give our all on the field for this jersey. I am very happy and hope to win more trophies in the future.”

Having recently kept a clean sheet against Alavés, he is now fully recovered from his injury, which has not hindered his performance: “I am doing well. My finger still hurts a bit, but I cannot stop because we have a lot of work to do this year.”

Radu is pleased with his experience in Vigo: “These months have been wonderful, although it was a bit challenging at first because I couldn’t find a place to live. Now, everything is settled. When starting a new experience, you always focus on the positives—it has turned out to be better than I expected. Everything is going well.”

Looking ahead, he is focused on the upcoming commitments this week against Ludogorets in the Europa League and Espanyol in LaLiga: “We approach every week with the same enthusiasm, putting in a lot of work with the coach. We are ready. At the beginning of the season, I was quite disappointed because we played well but drew some matches. However, victories soon followed.”
