Borussia Dortmund Eyeing Hoffenheim Striker Fisnik Asllani

Reports from Bild indicate that Borussia Dortmund is keen on acquiring Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani, who is considering leaving the club this summer.

Dortmund is among several clubs monitoring the Kosovo international, who has a release clause in his contract with Hoffenheim. The Bundesliga club had previously shown interest in Asllani after his successful loan spell at Elversberg last season but ultimately saw him sign a new contract with Hoffenheim.

During the current season, the 23-year-old has made a significant impact, netting six goals and providing three assists in 16 appearances, contributing to Hoffenheim’s position in seventh place in the Bundesliga.

Asllani’s potential move to Signal Iduna Park may be influenced by uncertainties regarding Serhou Guirassy’s future with the team. The 29-year-old’s performance has notably declined in recent weeks, and he has been linked with a transfer to Saudi Arabia, with his brother, who also serves as his agent, reportedly offering him to clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

Furthermore, Guirassy possesses a €50 million release clause in his contract, applicable only to top-tier clubs such as Manchester United, Manchester City, and Barcelona, adding to the speculation surrounding his departure.
