Concerns Rise Over Future of Eredivisie Highlights on NOS Studio Sport

NOS Studio Sport has been broadcasting highlights of Eredivisie matches for many years, but this may soon change. Editor-in-chief Xander van der Wulp has expressed concerns about significant consequences resulting from upcoming budget cuts at the NOS.

In January of this year, NOS announced their commitment to airing Eredivisie highlights for the next two years, extending through the 2026-2027 season. However, the program is now under threat due to the impending budget reductions, which could lead to the discontinuation of these highlights in 2027. “This is just the beginning, as much more is yet to come,” Van der Wulp stated during an appearance on Pauw & De Wit.
