Pulisic s Fitness in Question for AC Milan s Serie A Match Against LazioPulisic s Fitness in Question for AC Milan s Serie A Match Against Lazio

Christian Pulisic is anticipated to be unavailable for AC Milan’s Serie A encounter with Lazio this weekend, as indicated by manager Massimiliano Allegri during a press conference on Thursday.

The American forward, who had just returned from a hamstring injury, withdrew from training on Wednesday due to minor muscular discomfort, according to reports from Italy.

In his pre-match briefing, Allegri expressed skepticism regarding Pulisic’s potential to be fit for Saturday’s game, stating, “Pulisic is unlikely to play, although there are still two days until the match and anything can happen.”

Pulisic previously sustained a low-grade tear in his right hamstring during the first half of the U.S. men’s national team’s 2-1 friendly victory over Australia on October 17. He made his comeback as a substitute in a 2-2 draw against Parma on November 8.

Although he was not selected for Mauricio Pochettino’s USMNT roster for November friendlies against Paraguay and Uruguay, Pulisic notably started and scored the only goal in AC Milan’s recent derby victory over Inter.

Currently, Milan is positioned two points behind Serie A leaders Roma as they prepare to host Lazio on Saturday.
