Heracles Almelo Appoints Ernest Faber as Head Coach and Technical Director

Heracles Almelo has officially confirmed that Ernest Faber will succeed Bas Sibum as the head coach. Faber arrives from Australia and will also take on the role of technical director, replacing Nico-Jan Hoogma.

Faber has signed a contract for a duration of 18 months. Rob Toussaint, the managing director of Heracles, commented on the appointment: “With Hendrie Krüzen, Peter Reekers, Matthias Maurer, and Brian van Loo, we have a strong coaching team in place that can assist with various on-field responsibilities. Additionally, as technical director, Ernest will not be starting from scratch. A solid foundation is already established, the scouting system is operational, and we have Jurjan Mannes, who has been serving as the technical manager for over 18 months and can provide substantial support to Faber.”
