Praise for Youri Regeer from Henk Spaan

Despite Spaan’s commendation, Ajax seems to be in search of a new number six, with Stije Resink from FC Groningen being a potential candidate. However, according to Voetbal International, Resink’s transfer appears uncertain at this time. “The Amsterdam native can be acquired for a reasonable fee from FC Groningen next summer and is high on Ajax’s wish list, provided the new technical director and coach are in agreement about his potential,” the report concludes.
