NEC has placed a valuation of fifteen million euros on Sano. He is being considered by PSV as a potential successor to Joey Veerman. In an interview with De Gelderlander, the 22-year-old NEC player acknowledged the interest from PSV, stating, “I have noticed PSV’s interest from an article I read today. I’m not focusing on it too much; it’s not that I don’t care at all, but if I become overly concerned, it could distract me from my duties at NEC.”
