Ronaldo Invests in Exclusive Villas at Red Sea ResortRonaldo Invests in Exclusive Villas at Red Sea Resort

Cristiano Ronaldo has acquired two lavish villas situated in an exclusive resort along the Red Sea, approximately 800 miles from his current residence in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Designed by the esteemed British architect Lord Norman Foster, these villas are part of a reserve intended for elite retreats. According to reports from The Sun, each villa is valued at around £3.5 million, and Ronaldo is among the first to invest in these prestigious properties. The location is characterized as one of the world’s most secluded island settings, distinguished by exceptional design and a sustainable approach.

To reach the island, visitors must first fly into Red Sea International Airport, followed by either a seaplane or a boat ride to Nujuma.

In an interview with the Saudi Gazette, Ronaldo expressed his enthusiasm about the purchase, stating: “It’s truly exceptional in every sense of the word. From our first visit, Georgina and I felt a deep connection with this island and its breathtaking natural beauty. It’s a place where we find peace and tranquility.”

John Pagano, CEO of Red Sea International, welcomed the Ronaldo family into the local community, noting, “We are delighted to welcome Cristiano and Georgina to the Red Sea Residences community. Their decision to own here reflects the destination’s appeal among those seeking adventure with privacy and luxury in harmony with nature. We look forward to helping them explore all that The Red Sea has to offer.”

Ronaldo reportedly purchased one three-bedroom villa and another with two bedrooms, providing ample space for his partner Georgina Rodriguez and their children. The resort, located in the Ummahat Islands, touts properties that include panoramic windows, open living areas, sea-view pools, and even telescopes for stargazing. Additionally, guests can indulge in luxurious spa services, a diving center, and a variety of water sports.

As Ronaldo prepares to resume his football career with Al-Nassr following the winter break in the Saudi Pro League, the team currently leads the league table, four points ahead of their closest competitors, Al-Hilal. Although Ronaldo has yet to secure a trophy with Al-Nassr, he is eager to achieve that goal after extending his contract with the club for two more years.

In a boost for the club, FIFA has recently lifted their transfer ban, allowing Al-Nassr to sign new players during the January transfer window if they choose. The team’s next match is set to be an AFC Champions League fixture against Iraqi side Al-Zawraa, although Ronaldo may not participate, as he has been absent throughout the tournament. His anticipated return to action could come on December 27th in a Saudi Pro League match against Al Akhdoud.
