Mura Transfers to Inter Miami after Successful Stint with RacingMura Transfers to Inter Miami after Successful Stint with Racing

According to CL Merlo, River Plate made a last-minute effort to retain Mura by offering him a long-term contract. However, the player requested additional time to evaluate his options, particularly as negotiations with Inter Miami had temporarily stalled due to discrepancies in contractual terms. Once the Major League Soccer team presented a revised offer, Mura made his decision to join them on a free transfer.

Mura leaves Racing Club after an impressive four-year tenure in Avellaneda, during which he won the Copa Sudamericana, Recopa Sudamericana, Trofeo de Campeones, and Supercopa Internacional. Over nearly 150 appearances, he made significant contributions both defensively and offensively, netting 12 goals and providing 15 assists.

This transfer marks Mura’s first venture outside of Argentina, following previous engagements with Estudiantes and Colón. At Inter Miami, he will become part of the reigning MLS champions and reconnect with a substantial Argentine contingent that includes Lionel Messi, Rodrigo De Paul, Tomás Avilés, and Gonzalo Luján, among others.

The 26-year-old right-back is set to arrive in the United States to fill the role vacated by Marcelo Weigandt, who has returned to Boca Juniors after the conclusion of his loan with the Florida-based club.
