Nathan Rutjes Praises Luciano Valente’s Impact on Eredivisie

Nathan Rutjes is deeply impressed by Luciano Valente. The midfielder made the switch from FC Groningen last summer and has since earned a spot on the Dutch national team. Rutjes rates him a remarkable 9.9.

In an interview with FCUpdate, Rutjes did not hesitate when asked about the standout player of the first half of the Eredivisie season. “There can only be one: Valente. Of course. Any footballer, regardless of the level they play at, can immensely enjoy watching what he does with the ball at his feet. While I also appreciate a great tackle or winning a ball back, what Valente sometimes showcases with the ball is truly worthy of being displayed in the Rijksmuseum. I genuinely enjoy watching him play.”
