Ajax Considers Christian Norgaard for Midfield Role

omidbasir- Christian Norgaard is among the candidates being considered by Ajax for the vacant midfield control position. Six months ago, he signed with Arsenal FC; however, the 31-year-old Dane has seen limited playing time in London.

Despite these circumstances, Norgaard is not ready to give up just yet. When questioned about the possibility of a loan transfer this month, he stated, “I am really very happy here. I have understood that the club is also very pleased with me. Thus, I perceive a positive relationship on both sides. I am learning and need to absorb Mikel Arteta’s tactics. I hope to get more playing time in the final months of the season.”

In addition to Norgaard, other players such as Daley Blind and Manuel Ugarte (from Girona and Manchester United), along with Edson Álvarez and Douglas Luíz (who has already signed with Aston Villa), have also been mentioned as potential signings for the midfield control role.
