Ajax Poised for Significant Windfall from PSV s DecisionAjax Poised for Significant Windfall from PSV s Decision

On Christmas Eve, many in the Netherlands are settled in front of the television to enjoy the beloved show “All You Need Is Love.” However, the theme of love can also be observed in the football world, particularly between PSV and Ajax.

According to recent reports, Ajax may be in a position to earn around 20 million euros this winter, thanks to the decision made by PSV and Joey Veerman to continue their partnership until at least the upcoming summer.

It is widely acknowledged that there is openness at Johan Cruijff ArenA regarding the potential departure of Kenneth Taylor. During a recent segment on Studio Voetbal, Arno Vermeulen commented, “Taylor should yield between 20 and 25 million euros. If he can secure a transfer for that amount, Ajax should proceed without hesitation. For context, players like Kodai Sano from NEC and Stije Resink from FC Groningen are available for six to seven million euros. I believe Ajax would be receptive to Taylor’s departure if it means generating that revenue. They should ideally look to acquire or loan a right winger, as they currently lack sufficient depth and speed in that position.”
