Ajax Prepares for Kenneth Taylor s Transfer to SS LazioAjax Prepares for Kenneth Taylor s Transfer to SS Lazio

Ajax is on the verge of selling Kenneth Taylor to SS Lazio for a fee of approximately €15 million. However, there is uncertainty regarding whether the club’s management will reinvest any of the proceeds.

Currently, Ajax is contemplating the allocation of funds for new players, but they are hesitant. According to the Algemeen Dagblad, this indecision is largely due to the impending appointment of Jordi Cruijff as the new technical director. Although Cruijff will soon be presented, he will not begin his role until after the transfer window closes. Consequently, the current management is reluctant to commit significant funds to potential targets without his endorsement.

Alternative options are being considered, and a loan transfer appears to be a more realistic prospect at this time. Manchester United’s Manuel Ugarte is considered a promising candidate, although securing his transfer remains unlikely. Additionally, the possibility of reuniting with 35-year-old defender and midfielder Daley Blind has been mentioned, but no concrete plans are in place yet.

Ajax aims to acquire two new players this summer, including a successor for Taylor. Furthermore, the club is open to transferring players such as Anton Gaaei, Kian Fitz-Jim, Branco van den Boomen, and Oliver Edvardsen.
