Ajax Seeks New Technical Director and Head Coach Amid Speculation

Ajax is actively seeking to fill the roles of both a new technical director and head coach. According to Mike Verweij and Valentijn Driessen from De Telegraaf, there is a possibility that Jordi Cruijff could replace Alex Kroes as the technical director.

In discussing potential candidates, Verweij noted in the podcast Kick Off, “Ronald Koeman is a family friend of the Cruijff family, and Peter Bosz has very close ties to them as well. While this doesn’t necessarily mean they will rush to the Johan Cruijff ArenA, the idea of appointing Xavi Hernández as the new head coach is indeed an intriguing one.”
