Ajax’s Challenge in Finding a Successor for Heitinga

Vahle noted, “I believe the most difficult question in the search for a new coach will be: who is willing to take the risk? Many names are being mentioned, including Ten Hag and Alex Pastoor. I spoke with Pastoor, who is my colleague at Ziggo Sport, and he stated that he would not outright refuse the opportunity. He possesses a great deal of vision and is tactically astute, yet he lacks extensive experience. The likelihood of him being appointed is very slim.”
