Al-Nassr, the prominent club in the Saudi Pro League, concluded their AFC Champions League group stage with an impeccable record, securing a 5-1 victory against Al-Zawraa at home on Wednesday.

From the outset, Al-Nassr asserted their dominance, with Coman breaking the deadlock in the 12th minute. After executing a swift one-two with Angelo Gomes, Coman entered the box from the right and squared the ball back to himself to find the net.

Just seven minutes later, Wesley doubled the lead for Al-Nassr. Following a corner kick, Joao Felix attempted a first-time header, which was initially blocked. However, Wesley capitalized on the rebound, pushing the ball into the goal.

Before the half-hour mark, Abdulelah Al-Amiri contributed a third goal with a precise header from Felix’s corner. Felix then marked his name on the scoresheet just before halftime. In a well-coordinated attack initiated by Coman, the ball reached Ronaldo at the edge of the box. The veteran forward took a touch and chipped the ball to Felix, who deftly lobbed it over the opposing goalkeeper.

Five minutes into the second half, Ibrahim Gbadamosi scored a consolation goal for Al-Zawraa, but Coman quickly sealed the match’s outcome with his second goal in the 56th minute. Although Ronaldo provided an assist, the night predominantly belonged to Coman.

Coman was a dynamic presence on the right flank for Al-Nassr, proving to be the most influential player by scoring twice and assisting Felix’s goal just before halftime.

Throughout the match, Al-Zawraa’s defense appeared overwhelmed, unable to respond to Al-Nassr’s incessant attacks, which allowed the Saudi giants to exploit spaces near their penalty area with ease. Ultimately, it was a comfortable victory for Al-Nassr.
