Matías Almeyda has announced a squad of 22 players for the upcoming match against Celta de Vigo, scheduled for tomorrow at 21:00 at the Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium. This match marks the conclusion of matchday 19 and the first half of the league season. Notable inclusions in the squad are the returns of Rubén Vargas and Nianzou, alongside youth player Miguel Sierra.

In contrast, Ramón Martínez has been omitted from the list following his confirmed transfer to Valladolid. Furthermore, Almeyda continues to face challenges with injuries, as he is unable to count on Azpilicueta, Suazo, and Alfon, as well as the suspended Marcao, who is serving his second match of a ban. The squad also misses Nigerian internationals Akor Adams and Ejuke due to their national commitments.

The complete squad includes: Odysseas, Nyland, Alberto Flores, Carmona, Juanlu, Kike Salas, Nianzou, Cardoso, Castrín, Oso, Mendy, Agoumé, Sow, Gudelj, Jordán, Manu Bueno, Januzaj, Miguel Sierra, Alexis, Peque, Vargas, and Isaac.

A key uncertainty remains regarding the fitness of Alexis Sánchez. Almeyda provided an update in a press conference, stating, “Yesterday, during training, he received a blow to his hip in a contact with a teammate. Such impacts can temporarily numb the muscle, and we will assess how he feels tomorrow. He was in pain today; it is not serious, but sometimes these hits can hinder mobility for a couple of days.”
