Antonio Cordero’s Potential Return to Spain: Newcastle Seeks Loan Solution

Antonio Cordero, affectionately known as Antoñito, is contemplating a potential return to Spain, while Newcastle United actively searches for a solution to ensure he gains more playing time in the latter half of the season.

It has become evident that a player of his international caliber, at just 19 years old, should not be sidelined at a Belgian club like Westerlo, where he has only participated in seven league matches, none of which as a starter.

Consequently, Newcastle has placed him on the transfer market, and several clubs in Spain have already engaged in discussions with the English side regarding a possible loan agreement that could benefit both parties.

Cordero, it is worth noting, departed from Málaga last summer, making the move to Newcastle, which subsequently loaned him to the Jupiler Pro League.
