Atlético de Madrid Announces Squad for Saturday’s Match Against Levante

Atlético de Madrid has officially announced the squad for their match this Saturday at 18:30 against Levante, which is part of the twelfth round of the league, bringing good news for coach Diego Simeone.

Nico González makes his return to the squad after successfully recovering from a tibial injury sustained during the recent league match against Sevilla. His positive progression means he is available just in time to bolster the attacking options for the team.

On the downside, Robin Le Normand will not participate. The central defender suffered an injury during the match against Union Saint-Gilloise, which initially appeared more serious than it ultimately was. The club provided a medical update following the match: “A high-grade injury to the posterior capsule of the left knee without ligament or meniscus involvement.” The defender is continuing his recovery process away from the group, and the upcoming international break will offer him the opportunity to work on his return to the pitch.

Simeone has called up 23 players for the encounter against the Levante squad, including several key figures from the Atlético dressing room.
