Atlético de Madrid Announces Squad for Upcoming Match Against Levante

Atlético de Madrid has released the list of players called up for their match this Saturday at 18:30 against Levante, which is part of the twelfth round of the league. A positive development for coach Diego Simeone is the return of Nico González.

González has successfully recovered from a soleus muscle injury sustained in the previous league match against Sevilla. His positive progress means he is now available to strengthen the midfield for the team.

However, there is some disappointment due to the absence of defender Robin Le Normand. He suffered an injury during the match against Union Saint-Gilloise that initially appeared more serious than it turned out to be. The club shared an update on his condition after the match, stating: “High-grade injury to the posterior capsule of the left knee without ligament or meniscus involvement.” Le Normand continues his recovery process away from the team, and the international break will provide him an opportunity to work towards his return to the pitch.
