With the Spanish tournament lost, this fixture has now become a top priority for the club, alongside their upcoming Copa del Rey encounter against Barcelona.

As the team awaits their visit to Camp Nou, coach Diego Simeone is concentrating on the Champions League. Preparations began this morning, with the starting players engaging in gym workouts while substitutes participated in a small-sided match on the training field. After today’s training session, Atlético will finalize their preparations for the clash in Bruges. The team is scheduled to depart from Madrid-Barajas Airport tomorrow at 10:45 AM, arriving at Ostend Airport at 1:05 PM before heading to their concentration hotel, the Van der Valk Hotel Brugge – Oostkamp.
