Atlético Madrid Prepares for Match Against Real Sociedad

Giacomo Raspadori is among the Atlético Madrid squad set to fly to San Sebastián this morning. The Italian forward remains with the club as discussions continue with Roma regarding a potential transfer. Until a complete agreement is reached, Raspadori is expected to remain under coach Diego Simeone, who does not perceive the striker as eager to leave.

Also included in the squad are Baena and Giménez, both of whom have been absent in recent matches yet play vital roles in Simeone’s strategy, both offensively and defensively. The former Villarreal player is expected to return to the starting lineup, while the Uruguayan will bide his time on the bench.

Consequently, the only players unavailable for Simeone are Lenglet and Nico, both of whom sustained injuries in the latter part of last year.
