Bayern Munich has officially completed one third of their pending agreements with Serie A clubs through the sale of winger Adin Licina to Juventus Turin. The 19-year-old has signed on a permanent basis, with current media reports corroborating earlier information regarding the transfer.

Although Bayern will not receive a transfer fee for Licina, they have negotiated a 30 percent re-sale clause and rights for any future transfers involving the player.

During the current season, Licina played for both Bayern’s reserve team, making 16 appearances in the fourth tier Regionalliga, and the Bayern U19 squad, where he made four appearances. He recorded two goals and provided six assists across all competitions in 20 matches.

For the time being, Licina will join the Juventus Next Gen academy.

“Adin Licina joined FC Bayern as a promising young talent, developed at our campus, and is now set to make his mark in international top-flight football,” stated Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund in a club announcement. “We wish him all the best for his future endeavors.”
