Bayern Munich has initiated “concrete talks” with TSG Hoffenheim’s striker, Fisnik Asllani, according to Florian Plettenberg.

The Rekordmeister is actively searching for a backup solution for Harry Kane. With Nicolas Jackson currently on loan and unlikely to remain at the club, Bayern is exploring alternative options.

Asllani presents a viable choice for the league leaders as a secondary option to the English forward. The Kosovo international is Hoffenheim’s top scorer this season, having netted five goals in the Bundesliga.

It is anticipated that the 23-year-old will depart TSG at the end of the season, as his release clause will become effective then.

Having previously expressed interest in the player, Bayern’s representatives have advanced discussions with Asllani regarding a potential move to Munich next summer.

The likelihood of Asllani’s departure seems high; the primary consideration will be which club he ultimately joins. With other teams, including Barcelona, showing interest, Bayern Munich is eager to secure this transfer target and prevent him from slipping away.
