Bayern Munich Open to Offers for Sacha Boey Amidst CompetitionBayern Munich Open to Offers for Sacha Boey Amidst Competition

According to a report from Sport Bild, Bayern Munich is open to receiving offers for defender Sacha Boey, who has made only five starts in the Bundesliga this season.

Since his transfer from Galatasaray for €30 million two years ago, the French defender has not secured a prominent role within the team. Club director Max Eberl indirectly referenced Boey’s uncertain future, suggesting that changes may be necessary as competition increases.

“With Hiroki (Ito) and Phonzy (Alphonso Davies) returning, we now have a surplus of high-quality full-backs,” Eberl stated. “This could create challenges for one or two players. Therefore, it might make sense to consider a change.”

Despite this, Sport Bild reports that Bayern has no immediate plans to facilitate Boey’s departure, indicating that any transfer would need to be permanent. He has featured in 12 out of 24 league matches this season.

Premier League club Crystal Palace has expressed interest in signing Boey, although there are currently no formal discussions between the two clubs.
