Bayern Munich has decided against pursuing Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani this summer, according to Kicker.

The Kosovo international contributed an assist in Hoffenheim’s recent 5-1 defeat to Bayern, and speculation about his potential departure has arisen due to a reported release clause of approximately €30 million.

While Vincent Kompany’s team recognizes Asllani’s footballing talents, they consider his pace to be a limiting factor for their offensive strategies, especially with Harry Kane’s presence in the attack and Serge Gnabry’s contract extension. For Bayern, enhancing their attack with faster players is a priority.

Although Bayern has opted not to show interest in Asllani, the 23-year-old is still anticipated to leave Sinsheim this summer.

In recent weeks, Bayern has been linked with potential signings such as Said El Mala and Yan Diomande, both of whom could add the necessary speed to their front line. However, El Mala remains untested at the top level, while Diomande’s potential transfer fee is expected to be around €100 million.
