Following Saturday’s training session and prior to their departure for Valencia, Betis head coach Manuel Pellegrini has announced the squad of 23 players for the upcoming match in the 12th round of LaLiga EA Sports against Valencia at Mestalla. Unfortunately, the team will be without four players for various reasons. Pau López and Junior Firpo will remain in Seville to focus on their recoveries from injuries. Isco, although he has begun participating partially in team training, will not be fit in time for this match and is expected to return after the forthcoming break. Additionally, Ricardo Rodríguez could have been available, as confirmed by Pellegrini, who stated he is in good condition, but the coaching staff has opted not to risk his health due to upcoming international commitments. Traveling to Valencia will be the remaining members of the squad, including Fornals, who has been called up by Luis de la Fuente. Pellegrini has also included Germán, one of the goalkeepers from the youth team, as he prefers to have three goalkeepers available for away matches. This encounter with Corberán’s team will mark Betis’ last fixture before a two-week break, during which Pellegrini hopes to recuperate some of the injured players in preparation for the final stretch of games this year. Goalkeepers: Álvaro Valles, Adrián, and Germán Defenders: Bellerín, Ortiz, Ruibal, Bartra, Diego Llorente, Natan, and Valentín Gómez Midfielders: Amrabat, Altimira, Marc Roca, Fornals, Lo Celso, Deossa, Antony, Abde, and Riquelme Forwards: Pablo García, Chimy Ávila, Bakambu, and Cucho Hernández.
