According to Opta, this match marked Dortmund’s sixth clean sheet at home this season in the Bundesliga, a league-leading achievement and a new club record following their first eight home matches.

With this win, Dortmund narrowed the gap to league leaders Bayern Munich to eight points, although Bayern will have the opportunity to extend their lead when they play on Wednesday.
