Borussia Dortmund Eye Hoffenheim Striker Fisnik Asllani

According to reports from Bild, Borussia Dortmund is expressing interest in Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani, who is contemplating a departure from the club this summer.

Dortmund is one of several clubs keeping an eye on the Kosovo international, who possesses a release clause in his contract with Hoffenheim. Previously, the Bundesliga club had shown interest in Asllani after a successful loan spell at Elversberg last season, but he opted to sign a new contract with Hoffenheim instead.

This season, the 23-year-old has made a notable impact, scoring six goals and providing three assists in 16 appearances, contributing to Hoffenheim’s current position of seventh in the Bundesliga.

Asllani’s potential move to Signal Iduna Park is partly influenced by uncertainties surrounding Serhou Guirassy’s future. The 29-year-old forward has seen a significant decline in his form in recent weeks and has been linked to a possible transfer to Saudi Arabia. His brother, who also acts as his agent, has reportedly been offering Guirassy to clubs within the Saudi Pro League.

Additionally, Guirassy’s contract includes a €50 million release clause that is applicable only to top clubs such as Manchester United, Manchester City, and Barcelona.
