Borussia Dortmund Eyes Hoffenheim Striker Fisnik Asllani

Reports indicate that Borussia Dortmund is keen on acquiring Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani, who is contemplating a departure from his current club this summer.

Dortmund is among several clubs closely monitoring the Kosovo international, who has a release clause in his contract with Hoffenheim. The Bundesliga side had previously expressed interest in Asllani after his successful loan spell at Elversberg last season; however, he opted to extend his contract with Hoffenheim instead.

This season, the 23-year-old has made a significant impact, scoring six goals and providing three assists in 16 appearances, contributing to Hoffenheim’s current position in seventh place in the Bundesliga.

Asllani’s potential transfer to Signal Iduna Park may be influenced by uncertainties surrounding the future of Serhou Guirassy. The 29-year-old’s performance has notably declined in recent weeks, and he has been linked to a move to Saudi Arabia, with his brother, who also serves as his agent, reportedly offering him to clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

Additionally, Guirassy possesses a €50 million release clause in his contract, which is applicable only to elite clubs such as Manchester United, Manchester City, and Barcelona, among others.
