Sky Germany reports that Borussia Dortmund has escalated their bid for Brazilian left-back Kaua Prates from Cruzeiro to €13 million. This comes after their initial offer of €10 million for the talented 17-year-old was rejected.

Dortmund appears determined to finalize the deal promptly. According to the report, negotiations with the young player’s Brazilian club are in an “advanced stage.” With the impending departure of their young left-back, Almugera Kabar, to Hamburger SV, Dortmund is keen on securing a suitable replacement at the earliest opportunity.

The club’s transfer budget suggests they are prepared to increase their offer further should Cruzeiro engage in additional negotiations.
