According to Bild, Borussia Dortmund is preparing to contend with Bayern Munich for the signature of Anderlecht midfielder Nathan de Cat, while also seeking to acquire a striker from Sweden.

The 17-year-old de Cat has recently garnered attention from Bayern; however, Dortmund is equally keen on securing his transfer to Germany. Currently participating in the under-17 World Cup with Belgium, de Cat has made a significant impact by featuring regularly in the starting eleven for Anderlecht’s senior team.

This season, de Cat has appeared in 19 matches across all competitions for Les Mauves. His versatility allows him to operate not only as a midfielder but also as a defensive option.

In addition to de Cat, Dortmund is reportedly interested in AIK striker Kevin Filling. The 16-year-old has already made his mark in the Swedish first division, scoring two goals in nine appearances for IFK.

Filling’s potential move to Dortmund could mirror that of Alexander Isak, who transitioned from AIK to Dortmund but faced challenges in establishing himself. Should Filling make the switch to Germany, it is likely that he will either be integrated into the club’s academy or sent out on loan to gain experience.
