Borussia M nchengladbach Ends Loan of Tomas CvancaraBorussia M nchengladbach Ends Loan of Tomas Cvancara

Borussia Mönchengladbach has officially announced the early termination of Czech striker Tomas Cvancara’s loan agreement with Antalyaspor. The 25-year-old will return to his Bundesliga club after the Turkish side failed to pay him for three and a half months.

In response, Cvancara has filed a lawsuit seeking to recover his unpaid wages, though the current status of his claim remains undisclosed.

Rouven Schröder, the sporting director of BMG, confirmed to Kicker that Cvancara will rejoin the team for the commencement of winter training on January 2. Intriguingly, following this, Cvancara will head back to Turkey for a mini-camp in Belek, as Gladbach prepares to resume Bundesliga action on January 11 with a home match against FC Augsburg.

Upon resuming play, Gladbach and the rest of the Bundesliga will face an “Englisher Woche” (English Week), consisting of three league matches over six days from January 11 to January 16. Notably, player Kleindienst is not anticipated to return until late January at the earliest, with Gladbach set to contest five Bundesliga matches during this period.

In a recent interview with the Rheinische Post while attending the World Darts Championship in London, Gladbach captain Kleindienst expressed optimism about his return. “I hope that I can be back by the end of January or mid-February,” he stated, adding, “There are still some minor issues to be resolved.”
