Burglary Strikes Dias and Jama’s Home During Champions League Match

Dias, sidelined for several weeks due to a hamstring injury, was in the stands to support his team. Meanwhile, his partner, Jama, was in South Africa hosting the latest series of ‘Love Island All-Stars’. With their home unattended, opportunistic thieves seized the opportunity to break in.

A spokesperson for Cheshire Police reported to the BBC, “Shortly after 11:10 PM on Wednesday, January 28, police received reports of a burglary at an address in Alderley Edge. Officers arrived to find that entry had been gained to the property and several items had been stolen. Investigations are currently ongoing.”

Upon returning home, Dias discovered multiple rooms ransacked and personal belongings missing. He promptly alerted the authorities. The couple had only begun living together late last year, having moved from different cities—Dias from Manchester city center and Jama from London.

Sources informed The Sun of their emotional response to witnessing their new home, a special four-bedroom property, violated: “They are devastated. The house is the first they have moved into as a couple and holds great significance for them. Thankfully, neither was at home, but they are deeply upset that their personal space has been invaded. They cherish the house for its quiet location, away from traffic.”

The Sun also reported that this incident is part of a troubling trend involving “away day gangs” targeting the residences of professional footballers during notable matches. Previous victims among Manchester City players include Jack Grealish, Raheem Sterling, and Riyad Mahrez.

Dias and Jama’s residence, located in Alderley Edge’s affluent ‘Golden Triangle,’ features landscaped gardens and a comprehensive indoor leisure suite, complete with a swimming pool, spa bath, sauna, and gym. Despite having advanced security systems, including a zoned alarm, CCTV, and electric gates, burglars managed to bypass these measures.

Jama, who initially met Dias at the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards in Manchester, recently expressed her pride in overcoming her past and becoming a property owner and television presenter with over three million Instagram followers. In response to inquiries regarding her move from London, she remarked, “Just to answer my DMs, I bought a house in the Cotswolds last year, so I’ll be there sometimes. I’m really proud of myself, transitioning from a council house to multiple property ownership.”

Since confirming their relationship in the spring of 2025, the couple has spent significant time together, enjoying sun-soaked vacations, although Jama has mentioned missing Dias while filming ‘Love Island’ on a different continent.
