Celta has been actively recognizing the dream of bringing back Fer López, currently on loan, during this winter transfer window. However, the club acknowledges the complexities involved in this operation, emphasizing that there are no significant advancements at this time.

Nonetheless, the club has not ruled out the possibility of completing the transfer within January. Claudio Giráldez, the coach, is keen on having the player back, and the academy graduate is eager to return. The Celta board is considering this option, provided that Wolverhampton facilitates his temporary exit, which could last either six or eighteen months.

Fer López is putting in considerable effort to make this return happen. His current club, Wolverhampton, is at the bottom of the Premier League standings, and he has had very limited participation, featuring in only 10 matches across all competitions and accumulating just 346 minutes of play, during which he made one assist.

Celta transferred the 21-year-old forward last June for a fee of 23 million euros. The Wolves are cautious about allowing the player to lose value, hence they are contemplating his temporary return to Vigo.
