Celta Faces Busy Schedule Ahead of Holiday BreakCelta Faces Busy Schedule Ahead of Holiday Break

omidbasir- Following their triumph in the second round of the cup against Sant Andreu, Celta will face a demanding schedule of nine matches from this Saturday until the Christmas break. This packed calendar has become commonplace for the Celta team this season.

The team will engage in five challenging league matches, with away games against Alavés, Real Madrid, and Oviedo, alongside home fixtures at Balaídos against Espanyol and Athletic. Notably, Celta has yet to secure a domestic victory at home this campaign.

In the Europa League, Celta will travel to play Ludogorets next Thursday, followed by a home match against Bologna on December 11. Success in these two games could secure their progression in the continental tournament beyond January.

Additionally, in the Copa del Rey, Celta will head to Barcelona to face Sant Andreu. Advancing past this round would set the stage for a third-round match before Christmas, culminating in a total of nine official matches in just four weeks.

This period will be critical for Claudio Giráldez, who will need to continue his strategy of extensive player rotations that he has implemented regularly. He intends to keep all 28 players in the first-team dynamic actively engaged, along with some players from the reserve team, Celta Fortuna.
