The Austrian international’s current contract is set to expire at the end of the upcoming season, and he feels that his worth significantly exceeds the financial terms being offered by the Bundesliga champions.

According to the podcast, Laimer is aiming for an annual salary of €15 million, a substantial increase from his current earnings of €8 million. His representatives have solid grounds for this demand, as Laimer has successfully transitioned from a natural midfielder to an outstanding right back under the guidance of former head coach Thomas Tuchel. Additionally, he has also performed admirably as a makeshift left back under Vincent Kompany.

With ample time remaining to finalize a new agreement, both Laimer and Bayern Munich are expected to continue discussions. However, a swift resolution is not anticipated.
