The doubts surrounding Taylor’s transfer originated from a report by Algemeen Dagblad on Wednesday. The Italian club is indeed in negotiations with the Ajax midfielder; however, the player had yet to be convinced. Meanwhile, several other media outlets reported later that day that a preliminary agreement was already in place. Ajax is expected to receive approximately fifteen million euros for the 23-year-old. Yet, the sudden uncertainty raised questions about whether the transfer would proceed.
