Claudio Echeverri’s Loan at Bayer Leverkusen Under Review by Manchester City

According to reports from Kicker, Manchester City is considering the termination of Claudio Echeverri’s loan to Bayer Leverkusen. Since joining the BayArena on loan last summer, Echeverri has only made nine appearances for die Werkself, with just three of those being starts.

There are concerns from all three parties involved regarding the current situation, particularly as the 19-year-old has not yet met the expectations placed upon him. In light of this, Manchester City is evaluating the possibility of recalling Echeverri during the winter transfer window.

The loan agreement includes a provision that allows for recall if the player does not attain a specific amount of playing time, a condition that appears likely to be activated.
